Our system

Lodestone designs and manufactures advanced lab-scale in situ magnetometers based on a patented design developed at the University of Cape Town. The system combines magnetic characterisation with a high-pressure packed-bed reactor, enabling continuous measurement of catalyst evolution under reaction conditions.


Operando capabilities
Equipped with gas flow and GC capabilities, the system enables catalytic measurements while recording magnetic data.

High temperature
Operation up to 800 °C using infrared heating.

High pressure operation up to 50 bar enable by stainless steel reactor design.
